The time has come to resurrect The Sons of Liberty.

We have been hearing for weeks now that the Republican Establishment, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker John Boehner have cooked up an Amnesty Deal. A Deal that will be surreptitiously enacted in the House and Senate such that the final Conference Bill will be passed in the Senate by the Democrat Majority and in the House by a mix of all Democrats and Republican Establishment defectors who will be well rewarded by being allowed to retain their Committee Chairmanships’.

The Deal came into the open on the Glenn Beck show when modern-day Patriots Representatives Michele Bachmann (Minn.), Steve King (Iowa) and Louie Gohmert (Texas) along with 67 other stalwarts determined that they could not go along with the deception and decided to risk their careers in a showdown with Boehner. Read more here Now that the deception has been made public, Speaker Boehner is saying that he doesn’t “intend” to push a bill that violates Republican Party “principles.”

Don’t be deceived by the Boehner’s latest ruse. He fully intends to implement the Deal, unless “We the People”, take back our government. We have to have patience. We are now engaged in a battle for survival for our way of life. If you value the future for your children and grandchildren, then you must become engaged and stick it out as long as it takes to convince our political class that we have had it and it is Speaker Boehner and the Republicans that defect that will bear the angst of the citizenry.

Remember first and foremost that these 70 brave souls have placed their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor on the line for us. We must in turn protect their backs from the administrators of this deception, both now and the future. We cannot allow the retribution that was delivered to Colonel Allen West to befall any of our brave patriots.

On June 19th you will have an opportunity to stand up against Amnesty and all the other reprehensible scandals that have rocked your faith in our government by joining Representatives Michele Bachmann , Steve King and Louie Gohmert, in front of the U.S. Capital. If you can’t be there physically, you can use the occasion to call your Representatives and Senators as well as to voice support for the 70 Representatives’ who are demanding that the Speaker honor the Hastert Rule that requires support from a majority of the majority to bring a bill forward.

Our way of life has been gradually under attack and sometimes we may feel that there is nothing that we can do. However, our Constitution gives the power to the people and we must make it clear to all our elected Representatives that we will exercise that power to rid our country once and for all from Amnesty, that promises to bankrupt our nation, from surveillance that threatens our Personal Liberty, and from corrupt, anti-Constitutional officials and bureaucrats that threaten our life, our liberty and our pursuit of happiness.

An Opinion on the Renewed Push to Use the C-CPI for COLA, Inflation Indexing

The Chained-CPI (C-CPI) is a fully-substitution-based version of the CPI-U, which is the primary inflation measure published by the U.S. government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. The C-CPI is designed to reduce the level of reported inflation that otherwise would be used by individuals to make decisions tied to their investments and income. As a vehicle for artificially reducing COLA adjustments for such programs as Social Security, its proposed use here appears to be a rare area of agreement between both sides in the current budget-deficit negotiations.

Those in the federal government who are honest and forthright with the American public—at least about the proposal to understate the official rate of inflation for purposes of budget reduction—have failed to drive a wooden stake through the heart of the C-CPI. Arising from its second, premature political burial, the C-CPI looks again like it has a strong chance of being used as a new federal parasite to drain consumer liquidity. Like a vampire bat that sucks only enough blood for self-nourishment—leaving its victims alive for further abuse—the use of the C-CPI as a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) measure is designed to suck real disposable income from the limited cash-flow of Social Security recipients, for the benefit of politicians who do not have the guts to vote against Social Security.

Those receiving, or who will be receiving Social Security payments were forced to pay into the system for all of their working lives, and generally believed the U.S. government would treat them fairly and honestly. The bloodsuckers in Washington have hit their victims similarly, before, back in the 1980s with the introduction of hedonic-quality adjustments to inflation, and in the 1990s with the change of concept in the CPI to a quasi-substitution-based inflation measure. Previously, the CPI measured inflation for a fixed-weight basket of goods, which measured COLAs as an inflation adjustment needed to maintain a constant standard of living.

As noted earlier in this missive, these methodological changes have altered the CPI-U and its more narrowly defined variant, the CPI-W, so that they no longer measure those costs of maintaining a constant standard of living (substitution effects) and no longer measure out-of-pocket costs (hedonic-adjustment effects). Without the changes made to CPI calculations of the last several decades, Social Security payments would be more than double what they are today. Indeed, with the use of a substitution-based index (the C-CPI is fully substitution based), the resulting cost of living adjustments promise only a declining standard of living. Expanding the example that former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan often used, where, as the price of steak rose, consumers would shift to hamburger, so too with higher hamburger costs have some cash-strapped retirees actually shifted consumption to dog food.

The President and Congress must address Social Security and other programs, such as Medicare, restructuring them so as make them solvent over the long haul, eliminating the horrendous levels of unfunded liabilities that are deteriorating at an aggregate pace in excess of $5 trillion per year on a net-present-value basis (see the Hyperinflation Report). With discussions instead focusing on using the outright deceit of implementing the C-CPI to cut COLA, those controlling the government appear to lack the political will to make needed changes in a straight-forward manner. Under those circumstances, there can be no meaningful budget deal structured by the negotiators in Washington.

The government must be honest with its citizens. If the government cannot afford to pay full COLAs, it is better to indicate that upfront, rather than to try to fool individuals as to the actual level of inflation they have to overcome in order to maintain their living standards. Cutting benefits by stealth and deceit may be politically expedient for the miscreants playing this game, but it is utterly unconscionable.

Beyond the damage caused by the C-CPI not reflecting out-of-pocket costs, and no longer measuring the cost of living of maintaining a constant standard of living, the C-CPI is not a practical measure for being used as a COLA or other benchmark inflation measure.

No Fixed Index Level for Reliable Cost Escalations in Contracts. As a separate issue, beyond the C-CPI not reflecting the cost of living of maintaining a constant standard of living or of reflecting full out-of-pocket consumer expenses, it cannot be published on a timely-enough basis to make it feasible as an annual-COLA factor.

The following graph shows the regular net revisions to year-to-year inflation in the Chained-CPI, published February 21, 2013 for the years 2011 and 2012. In contrast, the CPI-U and CPI-W never are revised on a not-seasonally-adjusted basis (barring an outright error in calculation).

That feature enables the use of the CPI-U and CPI-W as inflation-adjustment and cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) measures in contracts, COLA adjustments to Social Security, etc. Although designed as a consumer-damaging, budget-cutting replacement for the CPI-W in goverment COLA adjustments, the C-CPI reporting is unstable, since it goes through regular revisions every year, for the two prior years. As shown in the following graph, the latest revisions would have suggested an upside revision of about three-tenths of a percentage point to any COLA adjustment would have been made previously for 2011.

As discussed by the BLS in its February 21, 2013 press release: “Because the current expenditure data required for the calculation of the C-CPI-U are available only with a time lag, the index is issued first in preliminary form, using the latest available expenditure data at the time of publication, and is subject to two subsequent revisions. Therefore, C-CPI-U indexes for the 12 months of 2011 [now] are issued in final form – employing monthly expenditure weights from 2011. Values for the 12 months of 2012 are revised and issued as interim, using expenditure weights from the 2009-2010 period. Calculation of the initial value of the January 2013 C-CPI-U index, and all subsequent months in 2013, will also be based upon 2009-2010 expenditure weights.”

Notes on Different Measures of the Consumer Price Index

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is the broadest inflation measure published by the U.S. Government, through the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Department of Labor:

The CPI-U (Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers) is the monthly headline inflation number (seasonally adjusted) and is the broadest in its coverage, representing the buying patterns of all urban consumers. Its standard measure is not seasonally adjusted, and it never is revised on that basis except for outright errors.

The CPI-W (CPI for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers) covers the more-narrow universe of urban wage earners and clerical workers and is used in determining cost of living adjustments in government programs such as Social Security. Otherwise, its background is the same as the CPI-U.

The C-CPI-U (Chain-Weighted CPI-U) is an experimental measure, where the weighting of components is fully substitution based. It generally shows lower annual inflation rate than the CPI-U and CPI-W. The latter two measures once had fixed weightings—so as to measure the cost of living of maintaining a constant standard of living—but now are quasi-substitution-based. Since it is fully substitution based, the series tends to reflect lower inflation than the other CPI measures. Accordingly, the C-CPI-U is the “new inflation” measure being considered by Congress and the White House as a tool for reducing Social Security cost-of-living adjustments by stealth.

The ShadowStats Alternative CPI-U Measures are attempts at adjusting reported CPI-U inflation for the impact of methodological change of recent decades designed to move the concept of the CPI away from being a measure of the cost of living needed to maintain a constant standard of living. There are two measures, where the first is based on reporting methodologies in place as of 1980, and the second is based on reporting methodologies in place as of 1990.

Was it the big lie that we liberated Libya and it was now free of al-Qaeda? Was it that Libya was a staging point for weapons to Syrian Rebels? Or was it that the weapons that we supplied to Libya were making their way to al-Qaida in Mali and other regions?”

Now, Jeff Kuhner is reporting that the reason that the Benghazi Whistle-blowers are being isolated and threatened are among other travesties, the fact that they can document the that:

“ The Obama administration has been secretly arming the Islamic rebels in the vicious Syrian civil war, according to numerous news organizations. Mr. Paul has cited multiple media reports documenting the CIA smuggling operation in Benghazi. Stevens was critical of the operation. He also feared for his life. The truth about Benghazi could expose the CIA’s clandestine involvement. If that is the case, the Obama administration would be implicated not only in something nefarious, but a lawless and criminal enterprise. Mr. Obama would be no better than a gunrunner, an international arms smuggler. Even his leftist media hacks would have to abandon him.”

There’s no hiding four murders

Benghazi may turn out to be President Obama’s Watergate. The scandal is a growing cancer on the administration, threatening its very existence. The more information comes out, the more damning it is. This is why Democrats — and their media allies — are desperately trying to sweep the truth under the rug. Mr. Obama’s political survival is at stake.

High-profile lawyers Joseph diGenova and Victoria Toensing are in touch with State Department whistleblowers who were on the ground in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012, when our diplomatic mission was attacked by jihadists. Mr. diGenova says they can no longer remain silent. The whistleblowers want to testify before a House congressional committee. There is only one problem. According to Mr. diGenova and Ms. Toensing, the whistleblowers are being prevented — and intimidated — from speaking out by the Obama administration. Vindictive State Department officials are denying their request for legal representation. Since the whistleblowers’ potential testimony relates to classified information, they refuse to go forward in public without effective legal representation. The possible personal and professional consequences are immense.

If — and I stress if — they testify, then the Obama presidency is in mortal jeopardy. Mr. diGenova stresses that the whistleblowers possess information that will expose the administration’s lies and cover-up. Republicans on Capitol Hill should pursue this scandal to the end.

Benghazi should have been prevented. During the summer of 2012, al Qaeda thugs were roaming the streets of the city. The Red Cross and the British diplomatic mission pulled out. Our consulate had been physically attacked several times. This is why U.S. officials there repeatedly asked the State Department for bolstered security. It was denied.

Then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton testified under oath at a House hearing in January that she was unaware of any requests for extra security. “I have made it very clear that the security cables did not come to my attention,” she said. That is false. According to a recent congressional report, Mrs. Clinton knew about the cables. In fact, she not only denied the extra protection, she explicitly ordered that consulate security be cut back. The report cites an April 19, 2012, cable bearing Mrs. Clinton’s signature that acknowledges the demand for more security assistance but insists that reductions in security assets should continue.

Moreover, the report also found that State Department officials deliberately manipulated White House talking points to remove any references of culpability by Foggy Bottom for the negligence in security. The connections to terrorism and al Qaeda were purged. The White House wanted to shield Mr. Obama from any political damage in the midst of an election campaign. The administration covered up the obvious: Far from being smashed, al Qaeda had mounted a successful jihadist attack on U.S. soil, killing four Americans — including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. This is why Mr. Obama’s surrogates concocted the patently false narrative of a flash mob storming the consulate in protest of an anti-Muslim video. Their goal was to deceive the American public.

The media is also deliberately ignoring another aspect of Benghazigate. The administration refused to send in military reinforcements as Islamist thugs were storming the consulate. AC-130 gunships and U.S. special forces were at a military base only several hours away. They could have rescued our besieged personnel from the compound. Instead, they were ordered to do nothing, leaving Stevens and his colleagues twisting in the wind. The attack continued for more than nine hours. Yet Mr. Obama refused to lift a finger to save endangered American lives.

Why is the administration so determined to stonewall a serious investigation into Benghazi? The real answer may lie beyond cynical politics. Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, has repeatedly asked about the CIA’s alleged illicit role in smuggling weapons from our Benghazi compound to Turkey and eventually into Syria. The Obama administration has been secretly arming the Islamic rebels in the vicious Syrian civil war, according to numerous news organizations. At its core, Watergate was about the cover-up of a third-rate burglary. For this crime, President Nixon was forced to resign. Benghazigate is about the cover-up of the killing of four Americans. The families ofStevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith deserve to know the truth. It’s time we gave it to them. Let the whistleblowers speak.

Report: More Doctors Plan to Retire Early

A majority of physicians see a somewhat bleak future for medicine, pointing to eroding independence and
shrinking income, reports everydayhealth.com.

According to a survey from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions of more than 600 doctors, six in 10
physicians said they expect many of their colleagues to retire earlier than planned in the next 1 to 3
years.

That perception cuts across age, gender and specialty.

Another 55 percent of doctors surveyed believe many of their colleagues will cut back on their hours
because of the way medicine is changing, although the survey didn’t delineate on how it was changing.

Seventy-five percent believe the best and brightest may not consider a career in medicine, an increase
from the 2011 survey result of 69 percent.

“Physicians recognize ‘the new normal’ will necessitate major changes in the profession that require
them to practice in different settings as part of a larger organization that uses technologies and
team-based models for consumer (patient) care,” the survey’s findings stated.

Approximately two-thirds of those surveyed said they believe physicians and hospitals will work together
more closely in coming years.

Results found that in the last 2 years, 31 percent moved into a larger practice.

Nearly eight in 10 believe midlevel providers will play a larger role in directing primary care.

Four in 10 doctors reported their take-home pay decreased from 2011 to 2012, with more than half said
their pay cut was 10 percent or less, according to the survey.

Among physicians reporting a pay cut, four in 10 blame Obamacare and 48 percent of all doctors believed
their income would drop again in 2013 as a result of the health reform law.

It wasn’t all bad news, however.

Seventy percent of doctors said they were satisfied about practicing medicine, although that number was
lower for primary care providers and higher for younger age groups.

Dissatisfaction was blamed on less one-on-one time with patients, longer hours, and dealing with
Medicare, Medicaid, and government regulations.

Deloitte mailed the survey to more than 20,000 physicians selected from the American Medical
Association’s master file. Just 613 returned completed surveys, giving a margin of error of 3.9 percent
at the 0.95 confidence level.

What does MA and the Federal Government have in common? The answer is Massive Entitlement Fraud. The well oiled Progressive Deval Patrick Entitlement machine knows that votes cost and what is better than purchasing votes with Other Peoples Money, or OPM. Deval is following our Dear Leader in the White House’s lead in insuring that reforms are blocked and vetoed lest they interfere with the quid pro quo of votes for entitlements. “According to the Boston Herald, which first reported the veto, the governor berated the legislature’s stab at banning the purchase of specific items like manicures, tattoos, guns, porn, body piercings, jewelry, and bail by saying the move was “political grandstanding” at a time when such reforms are already on track elsewhere.

Recently, EBT Fraud beagle, Shauna O’Connell R Taunton, reported that the number of missing EBT Card cheats had risen from 17,000 a couple of months ago to 47,000 after an internal investigation. If we assume that the 47,000 received the average family monthly stipend of $456, then a measly $257.2M in fraud was skimmed from MA taxpayers.

“Although selling food stamps, known as trafficking, is a federal offense, Massachusetts remains one of the few states without a specific law allowing local authorities to investigate and prosecute retailers who traffic in food stamps. That loophole has made it difficult for local authorities to clamp down on retail traffickers, stores willing to pay recipients half the face value for every dollar they exchange.”

While Deval stonewalls and claims that Welfare Fraud enforcement is difficult at best, ME has been ramping up its investigations and prosecutions and cracking down on Welfare Fraud. “[ME]Department of Health and Human Service investigators are better trained. Local police are assisting on more cases. And state prosecutors are devoting more time and resources to putting behind bars people who rip off taxpayers’ money.”

At the Federal level, Our Dear Leader has been ramping up the “Obamaphone” giveaways. While we can’t place the blame on Obama for initiating the program, hats off to Bush 43 for initiating this technological welfare fraud program. In 2008, $819 Million was collected from a tax imposed on every land line telephone subscriber’s bill. Just another SMART Growth use of OPM to pay for FRAUD. Last year, since it was a presidential re-election year, Our Dear Leader accelerated the “Obamaphone Smart Growth” program so that a mere $2.2 Billion was confiscated from “producers”. By the way, we lucked out. Only “… 41% of their more than six million” “Obamaphone” recipients turned out to be fraudulently obtained.

Millions Improperly Claimed U.S. Phone Subsidies

The U.S. government spent about $2.2 billion last year to provide phones to low-income Americans, but a Wall Street Journal review of the program shows that a large number of those who received the phones haven’t proved they are eligible to receive them.

The Lifeline program—begun in 1984 to ensure that poor people aren’t cut off from jobs, families and emergency services—is funded by charges that appear on the monthly bills of every landline and wireless-phone customer. Payouts under the program have shot up from $819 million in 2008, as more wireless carriers have persuaded regulators to let them offer the service.

Suspecting that many of the new subscribers were ineligible, the Federal Communications Commission tightened the rules last year and required carriers to verify that existing subscribers were eligible. The agency estimated 15% of users would be weeded out, but far more were dropped.

Carriors

A review of five top recipients of Lifeline support conducted by the FCC for the Journal showed that 41% of their more than six million subscribers either couldn’t demonstrate their eligibility or didn’t respond to requests for certification.

The carriers—AT&T T -0.11% Inc.; Telrite Corp.; Tag Mobile USA; Verizon Communications VZ -0.07% Inc.; and the Virgin Mobile USA unit of Sprint NextelCorp. S +0.35% —accounted for 34% of total Lifeline subscribers last May. Two of the other largest providers, TracFone Wireless Inc. and Nexus Communications Inc., asked the FCC to keep their counts confidential. Results for the full program weren’t available.

The program is open to people who meet federal poverty guidelines or are on food stamps, Medicaid or other assistance programs, and only one Lifeline subscriber is allowed per household.

The program, which is administered by the nonprofit Universal Service Administrative Co., has grown rapidly as wireless carriers persuaded regulators to let people use the program for cellphone service. It pays carriers $9.25 a customer per month toward free or discounted wireless service.

Americans pay an average of $2.50 a month per household to fund a number of subsidized communications programs, including Lifeline.

For the carriers, the program is a chance for them to sign up more subscribers and make a small profit, plus more money if customers go over their small initial allotment and need to buy more minutes or text messages. Carriers can set prices for their Lifeline subscribers as the companies wish.

Until last year, FCC rules didn’t require carriers to certify to the FCC that subscribers were eligible. Consumers could self-certify, and in many states documentation wasn’t required.

Carriers said many of the disqualified subscribers simply didn’t reply when asked to prove their eligibility. They also said the FCC rules on self-certification, and the absence of a national database of participants, made it hard to keep ineligible people from signing up.

The FCC said it is investigating allegations that some Lifeline providers violated the rules, though it declined to comment on that probe. Carriers that don’t properly confirm eligibility can be fined up to $150,000 for each violation for each day of a continuing violation, up to a maximum of $1.5 million. In egregious cases, a carrier could lose its ability to participate in the program.

Telrite said it confirms Lifeline eligibility but said it had been difficult to verify the one-phone-per-household rule.

A Verizon spokesman said the “vast majority” of the subscribers removed from its rolls didn’t respond to eligibility checks. While Sprint found that some of its subscribers were no longer eligible, it, too, found that many others didn’t respond, a person familiar with the carrier’s operations said.

AT&T hadn’t detected the ineligible subscribers because customers self-certified under old rules and because some states required the company to provide Lifeline service to people enrolled in certain state assistance programs, according to a person familiar with the company’s thinking.

Tag Mobile didn’t respond to requests for comment.

TracFone Chief Executive F.J. Pollak declined to say how many customers his company shed. Nexus Communications didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Two years ago General Communication Inc. GNCMA +0.37% paid more than $1.5 million to settle allegations that Alaska DigiTel LLC, an Alaskan company it owns, submitted false claims to the FCC for more than four years. General Communication said the alleged misuse occurred before the company took day-to-day control of Alaska DigiTel.

Lifeline users have been a source of subscriber growth in the otherwise saturated U.S. market and helped fuel the expansion of companies like TracFone, now the fifth-largest U.S. wireless carrier.

The FCC until last year allowed consumers to self-certify, without requiring documentation, that they met federal poverty guidelines. Subscribers didn’t have to recertify once they were enrolled in the program, and there were few checks on whether households signed up for more than one cellphone.

“The program rules we inherited were designed for the age of the rotary phone and failed to protect the program from abuse,” FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said.

The agency pushed through new rules last year, requiring documentation when a Lifeline customer signs up. Consumers also must certify that no one else in their households is using the program. Carriers now have to check a state or federal social-service database to confirm eligibility and must reverify eligibility every year.

Carriers were required by Jan. 31 to report the number of subscribers they had removed from Lifeline as of the end of last year. The data reviewed by The Wall Street Journal came from those reports.

The FCC said new verification procedures saved nearly $214 million last year, and projected total savings over the next three years would reach $2 billion. Disbursements under the program began to drop in the third quarter after 12 consecutive quarters of increases.

While we are busy making a living, our educational system is busy indoctrinating our children. While playing a game of ‘rescue the world,’ Alex Evans, a second grader in Colorado tossed an imaginary grenade into a box in a make-believe game called “rescue the World” Because of the school’s ‘no real or play fighting’ rule, the boy was kicked out of school for an undisclosed period of time. The child said that he “was trying to save people …” in his imaginary world

In a related incident, a Llttle 5-year-old kindergartener was suspended for 10 days by a school administrators over alleged threat to blast a playmate with a Hello Kitty toy gun that shoots colorful floating bubbles. Her mom says that her daughter was told she could go to jail over threat.

A 5-year-old Hyannis MA boy received a disciplinary warning from Hyannis West school officials after building a gun out of Legos!

First, we heard school children in NJ sing praises of Barack Hussein Obama.

And now, the Progressives are writing text books with embedded propaganda with the expectation of molding our children’s behavior!!!

Children’s Book Wants 3 Year Olds Chanting ‘Union Power’

As a parent, you know that when your kids are young and learning to read that they are very impressionable. Many of the values, likes and dislikes are formed during these early years and trust me, the liberals know it and are using it to brainwash the next generation.

One of the most impressionable tools to use on young children are their first books, especially ones that teach them basic learning skills such as their alphabet. I’m in my sixties and I still remember many of the objects associated with the alphabet like A is for apple, B is for ball, C is for cat and so on. I even learned Morse Code when I was quite young because of picture association and still remember most of it today – A is dot dash – an apple and stem; B is dash dot dot dot – baseball bat and 3 baseballs; L is dot dash dot dot – locomotive front wheel, wheel bar and 2 rear wheels and so on.

Now, a social activist with very liberal and socialist ideas is using his new alphabet book to brainwash kids at the earliest age possible. Innosanto Nagara is originally from Indonesia. He came to the US to attend the University of California at Davis. He is a founding member of Design Action Collective, which is described as a social justice design studio. Just to remind you, the term social justice is the new way of saying socialistic without people realizing it.

Nagara has recently published a children’s book titled: A is for Activist. It is being advertised as a ‘children’s book for the 99 percent’. The purpose of the book is to ‘infuse the alphabet with the energy and consciousness of Occupy Wall Street.’

In an interview, Nagara talked about the book saying:

“It’s pretty awesome to hear a three-year-old saying ‘union power.”

Some of the letter lessons in the book are:

“B is for banner, as in a protest banner hanging off a construction crane

L is for LGBTQ, as in Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgendered and Queer

T is for Trans, as in transgendered

Z is for Zapatistas, as in Mexican revolutionary leftists”

Sadly, the book is already being picked up educators. One teacher union activist in Oakland wrote:

“This is an amazing book for toddlers.”

Founder of the social justice organization Code Pink, Medea Benjamin heralded A is for Activist saying:

“May a thousand young activists bloom!”

And that is precisely the purpose of this book, to create thousands of kids who will grow up as liberal socialistic activists who will work to undermine what America is all about.

Parents, please be warned about this book. If your kids attend public school, make it a priority to visit that school and find out if they have this book and are using it to brainwash your child into something you don’t want them to become. The schools will not safeguard your kids from this kind of teaching, only you can. You must take an active role in your children’s education. You need to protect your children like a mother hen protect her chicks and remember the words of Proverbs 22:6 that say:

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

On August 5th 2011 in an unprecedented move, the Standard & Poors Rating Agency lowered the Debt Rating of the United States from AAA to AA+. The lowered rating represented the first downgrade in 70 years and was preceded by numerous warnings to our government that the unprecedented Debt by the Obama Administration was crippling our economy and”..had grown increasingly skeptical that Washington policy makers would make significant progress in reducing the deficit, given the tortured talks over raising the debt ceiling.”

“S&P said the downgrade “reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government’s medium-term debt dynamics.” It also blamed the weakened “effectiveness, stability, and predictability” of U.S. policy making and political institutions at a time when challenges are mounting. ”

S&P also put the new grade on “negative outlook,” meaning the U.S. has little chance of regaining the top rating in the near term.”

Barack Hussein Obama is now jawboning Congress for even more fiscally irresponsible $Trillions in debt to satisfy his lust for a a new Socialist Order in America and this lawsuit appears to be a warning shot across the bow of S&P.

It will also serve as a warning to the other Rating Agencies not to challenge the Obama Administrations continuing black hole Debt lest they too succumb to the same fate that faces S&P .

Pollster: ‘I cannot remember a time when America was this despondent’

Editor’s note: This is another in a series of “WND/WENZEL POLLS” conducted exclusively for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies.

Barack Obama has led the nation into a “full-on depression,” according to a new poll that indicates only one in three people believes America is going in the right direction.

The poll shows a whopping 38 percent of Democrats believe America in general is “on the wrong track” or they are not sure.

The results are from a telephone poll conducted for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies. It was taken Jan. 9-12 and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 3.22 percentage points.

On the basic question, 34 percent said the nation is going the right direction, 60 percent said America is on the wrong track and 6 percent said they were unsure.

The 60 percent included an overwhelming 84 percent of Republicans, a strong 66 percent majority of independents and even 30 percent of the Democrats.

“At the beginning of a second presidential term, you generally expect the country to be in full-bore optimism, in part as an endorsement of the re-elected president and in part a reflection of the nation settled in its current course,” said Fritz Wenzel, president of his strategies organization.

“We saw that with Reagan, we saw that with Clinton, and we saw that with George W. Bush. But that is not what we find with Obama,” he said.

“The country is already in full-on depression, as just 34 percent said they think things in America are headed in the right direction. Even among Democrats, just 62 percent said they think things are headed in the right direction, an abysmal figure for the president’s own fellow party members.”

He continued: “There is just no sugar-coating this – America may have liked Obama more than Romney, but they have no confidence in his leadership. This spells nothing but tough sledding for the nation over the next four years. Politically, it’s bound to get very ugly as the nation continues in a downward spiral and leaders in Washington point fingers across the political aisle. Forget solutions and reform for the next four years – the only thing coming from Washington will be blame for our sorry condition. This survey finding reflects that the nation is in the process of giving up hope.”

Even among those who called themselves “very liberal,” only 59 percent approve of the direction the nation is moving. At the opposite end of the scale, 90 percent of the “very conservative” said the nation is going down the wrong path.

Only 45 percent of Americans believe the nation’s best days still are ahead. Fifty-five percent said they are long gone.

“I cannot remember a time when America was this despondent. Our survey shows 55 percent of American adults believe America’s best days are now behind us, while just 45 percent said they think the brightest days are still ahead,” said Wenzel.

“Here we are, four years into a recession, with Washington acting – and spending – like the economy is booming and everything is rosy. This shocking disconnect between Washington leaders and the American public has perhaps never been greater,” he said.

“This finding is undoubtedly a reflection of the belief among most Americans that their leader has lost his way. Or maybe they just think that he doesn’t believe in America as that shining city on a hill, and so have lost their hope in their own country. It could very well be, at least for some, a despondent reaction to his re-election and the in-your-face attitude that the White House has adopted in dealing with the Congress in general, Republicans in Washington in particular, and Obama’s callous disregard for the massive problems that are about to destroy our nation,” Wenzel said.

“His first solution to every problem is to increase government spending and regulation, which Americans have consistently rejected. A majority still opposes Obamacare, and a majority opposed TARP and auto bailout. The idea that the nation may well have passed the point of no return in many areas may well be behind this shocking poll finding.”

Another section of the same poll revealed that there is a “shocking willingness” on the part of Americans to give up their privacy and freedoms for the sake of “safety.” It showed that while 61 percent say domestic drones violate privacy rights, 20 percent of the people are just fine with the idea. Further, 46 percent said local governments should use cameras to monitor traffic.

The survey revealed that more than one in four believe the United States likely will collapse not just in their lifetime, but in the next decade.

Also, Wenzel earlier revealed that the seeds of tyranny already are present in America, with a heavily armed law enforcement presence and a population holding a disbelief that their government could do anything that would make them want to revolt.

President Obama says he plans to make public later this week the details of his plan to tighten firearms laws based on the findings of a White House task force he commissioned in the aftermath of the fatal Connecticut school shooting.

The task force was led by Vice President Joe Biden and held its final White House meeting Monday, talking with members of the House Democratic Gun Violence Prevention Task Force.

A source told Fox News that Biden explained at the meeting that he and his staff have researched various plans of action to reduce and prevent gun violence and have identified 19 different options the president could choose to implement through executive order.

Obama said Monday he planned to review the findings and will “vigorously pursue” the recommendations in the next few days. It’s unclear how many of the 19 options the president would eventually take up.

The president vowed after the Dec. 14 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., that he would look for ways to curb gun violence, including possible legislation to ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips like those used in the attack, which killed 20 first-graders and six adults at the school.

Among the other potential proposals is tightening background checks on prospective gun buyers. The president said Monday some of his goals could be accomplished through legislation, while others could be done through executive action.

The White House meeting Monday included Attorney General Eric Holder, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who have participated in several other talks.

“Our task force looks forward to working with … the Obama administration and all stakeholders to enact a comprehensive set of proposals that both respects the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens without a history of dangerous mental illness and helps keep our schools, streets and communities safe from gun violence,” said California Rep. Mike Thompson, chairman of the eight-member House task force.

Biden already has talked with individuals and groups supporting tougher guns laws, including the Brady Campaign, and gun rights groups, including the National Rifle Association, which opposes any legislation to again ban assault weapons and high-capacity clips. Biden also has spoken with governors and executives with the video-gaming industry.

Obama has suggested he will submit legislation after his Jan. 21 inauguration and Congress’ return to Washington.

Gun Control44 Law enforcement officials from a New York region where a local paper published a map identifying gun owners say prisoners are using the information to intimidate guards.

Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, who spoke at a news conference flanked by other county officials, said the Journal News’ decision to post an online map of names and addresses of handgun owners Dec. 23 has put law enforcement officers in danger.

“They have inmates coming up to them and telling them exactly where they live. That’s not acceptable to me,” Falco said, according to Newsday.

Robert Riley, an officer with the White Plains Police Department and president of its Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, agreed.

“You have guys who work in New York City who live up here. Now their names and addresses are out there, too,” he said adding that there are 8,000 active and retired NYPD officers currently living in Rockland County.

Local lawmakers also say that they intend to introduce legislation that prevents information about legal gun owners from being released to the public.

The newspaper published the online map last month alongside an article titled, “The gun owner next door: What you don’t know about the weapons in your neighborhood.” The map included the names and addresses of pistol permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

While the paper ostensibly sought to make a point about gun proliferation in the wake of the school shooting in Newtown, Conn., the effort may have backfired. A blogger reacted with a map showing where key editorial staffers live, and some outraged groups have called for a boycott of parent company Gannett’s national advertisers. Ironically, the newspaper has now stationed armed guards outside at least one of its offices.

Our Political Class is considering confiscating your private retirement account known as your 401k in order to “pay down the deficit?” A total deficit that is now being estimated at over $86 Trillion. Far Left Socialist professor, Teresa Ghilarducci of the New School of Social Research, describes 401(k)s and related plans as a failed experiment. For about ten years she has argued for government confiscation of 401k plans. In October 2008, Democrats were so enthralled with her unconstitutional confiscatory plan that they actually asked her to testify before their subcommittee.

After her testimony, James Pethokoukis wrote in Money on October 23d that:

“Ghilarducci would offer a lousy 3 percent return. The long-run return of the stock market, adjusted for inflation, is more like 7 percent. Look at it this way: Ten thousand dollars growing at 3 percent a year for 40 years leaves you with roughly $22,000. But $10,000 growing at 7 percent a year for 40 years leaves you with $150,000. That is a high price to pay for what Ghilarducci describes as the removal of “a source of financial anxiety and…fruitless discussions with brokers and financial sales agents, who are also desperate for more fees and are often wrong about markets.” Please, I’ll take a bit of worry for an additional $128,000.”

Would you believe that Ghilarducci’s plan is now actively being discussed in the “Cliff Talks” . Not so good you say? It gets worse. Also being floated is the idea that when you pass on to your Great Reward, your annunity would terminate. There would be no payout to your heirs. If you already feel like the government has stolen your retirement through the Social Security ponzi scheme, you had better speak out before your 401k is seized and redistributed to freeloaders as a solution to ward off the fiscal cliff.

Obama confident and virtual cabinet member Deval Patrick, is following in the footsteps of the Dear Leader. I.e. giving away the Peoples State Tax receipts to illegal aliens in order to further his own career. A give away that our legislature has rejected.

Does our state’s apprentice Dear Leader have the authority to give away our money, under our state constitution, without legislative approval? It is up to you. If you wish to see our state and Republic endure, then you must speak out and stop our political classes from bribing segments of our population with our public treasury. BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – It’s sure to set off a firestorm. Governor Deval Patrick is getting ready to order all state colleges and universities to offer illegal immigrants in-state tuition rates.

An administration official told the Boston Globe that Governor Patrick will send a letter to the Massachusetts Board of Education Monday. The letter will offer the cheaper in-state rate to illegals who obtain work permits through a new federal government program.

In June, President Barack Obama halted the deportation of illegals under 30 years old if they arrived in the U.S. before they were 16, had no criminal past and met other requirements.

Supporters are praising the move, but critics say the governor is neglecting American citizens struggling to afford higher education.
